The Bank is often the first building accessed in Buried. This building allows you to deposit, withdraw, and transfer points. The bank can be accessed in many ways and does not require the player to spend points in order to do so.

In This Guide:

  • A Description of The Bank
  • Items Found In The Bank
  • Ways To Access and Escape The Bank
  • What You Need To Know

Description of The Bank

The Bank looks exactly how I would expect to see a Bank in an old western movie. It is a wooden structure with a large front porch. The Word Bank is written on the front of the Building and a small sign hands from the porch roof that also says 'BANK'. This building looks large on the outside, but has the smallest interior playable area.

Inside the Bank is a small room with bank tellers against one wall and an open area in front. Behind the bank teller area is a hole that leads to a tunnel.

Items Inside The Bank

  • A Teller Window for depositing money
  • A Teller Window for withdrawing points
  • Keys that can be punched with the Galvaknuckles in order to enter money into a 'Bonus Points' Power-Up. This is how players transfer points.

Entering and Exiting The Bank

There are limited entry points into the bank, but several methods for doing so. This method used normally depends on the amount of time the player wants to spend, the amount of points the player has, and if the player has the Paralyzer.

Method 1: Buy The Stairs

There are stairs behind the General Store that lead to the roof of the Bank. If you spend 750 points to unblock these stairs you go to the roof and drop into the Bank.

Method 2: The Long Way

A player can jump from the roof of the Gunsmith to the roof of the Bank. However, if the Gunsmith Barricade is blocking the way, the player will need to jump onto the Gunsmith roof from the Saloon balcony. If the Saloon is not open, then the player can access the Saloon first going through the Sheriff's Office, across the walkway to the Barn, drop to the bottom level of the barn and into the tunnel, take the tunnel across the jump and into the Saloon, and finally walk to the balcony of the Saloon.

Method 3: The Passageway

If a player is already in the Gunsmith building they can take the passageway on the bottom floor and follow it into the Bank.

Method 4: The Paralyzer

If a player has the Paralyzer they can fly onto the roof of the Bank and drop down into the building.

Method 5: The General Store

The final method is to get inside the General Store and take the stairs to the second floor. Then go into the small room on your right. There is a door in this room that can be opened for 750 points. This leads to the roof of the Bank.

Exiting The Bank

There is only one exit from the Bank if you don't have the Paralyzer. That method is to take the passageway that leads to the Gunsmith. However, if you have the Paralyzer you can also fly up through the hole and onto the Bank roof.

What You Should Know

  • The Bank can be access during Borough Grief, but you can not withdraw, deposit, or transfer points.
  • You can have the Giant change the 'Bonus Points' Power-Up into a different Power-Up by feeding him Candy near the Power-Up. This allows a player to buy a Max Ammo, in a manner of speaking.
