Dishonored Return to Dunwall Tower

In Dishonored, the hero returns to Dunwall Tower to find and deal with the obvious protagonist in the game. However, Dunwall Tower has been transformed into a fortress to prevent the hero assassin from entering and completing his mission. This will guide the hero on how to get past the numerous walls of light in Dunwall Tower and how to find the right path within this vast place and get to the rooftop of Dunwall Tower.

Blink to Dunwall Tower Exterior

Samuel will park his boat on the river below Dunwall Tower. From here, the hero must blink through several ledges to get to the top. It is worthwhile taking out the guards on the level at the top of the ledges, as there are more guards as the hero advances further into Dunwall Tower.

At the top, the hero will see the first wall of light. Switch the polarity of this wall of light and pass through it. Lure guards into this area to decimate their numbers.

Get Into Dunwall Tower Interior

Next, the hero has to go forth and turn left. Blink along the passageway to avoid detection by the tallmen. Then climb onto the stair railing and descend rapidly and run into a room on the left side of the compound. The hero will know that he is on the right track when he sees an engineer in the room. Exit the room on the other side and reach a moat surrounding the interior of Dunwall Tower. Swim through the water and enter Dunwall Tower interior.

Get to the Stairs Leading Up to the Rooftop in Dunwall Tower

Within Dunwall Tower interior, the hero can hide behind cover and spot General Tobias receiving reports and instructing his men on what to do. Before this mission, the hero needs to have stocked up on normal crossbow bolts and sleep bolts. When the men disperse in various directions, use the sleep bolts to knock them out. Then proceed up the tower by blinking up the ledges in this large chamber.

The hero will arrive at the wall of light within Dunwall Tower interior. The first wall of light is easy to disable (see video below). Note that there will be lots of guards within the interior. Use a combination of stealth, brute force and wall of light vaporization techniques to eliminate them.

Past the first wall of light, the hero needs to turn left and then turn right into a passageway. There will be a door somewhere near the center on the right. Enter and then turn left and go up the stairs. The stairs will lead to the second wall of light within Dunwall Tower.

This wall of light is harder to disable. The hero needs to creep along the corridor to the left of the wall of light (when facing the wall). There will be a passageway here that will allow the hero to go behind the wall of light. The hero should take out guards along the way and then find the room that contains the panel for the wall of light. Enter and reverse the polarity of this wall of light.

From this wall of light, the hero needs to turn left and then turn right to enter a room. Exit on the other side, and the hero will find there is a flight of stairs leading up to the rooftop of Dunwall Tower. It's time to serve up vengeance for the man who has caused so much misery for Corvo.
