    I have always found such words intriguing....and great to use in Scrabble!  I will start with one that I find both unusual and obscure:

    misodoctakleidist: Someone who hates practicing the piano

    abecedarian: Someone learning to do their abcs. Perhaps I was the only one to be a little bemused with that one.
