Some games seem to be more responsive than others.  Kinect sports is good, the fitness games seem to be more responsive though.

You do need quite a large room to be able to use kinect in.  We usually have to move the couch around to play.

If the room is too messy it will have trouble tracking you.  I'd find a friend that has one before you buy.

You do need a lot of room to move around in, I see kinect are bring out a mat on April 29th, to help you keep within the boundaries of the kinect sensor and that is 55" x 78" Game Mat for the XBOX 360 Kinect, so that should be the amount of space you need to keep clear.

You'll need plenty of space, and the Kinect needs to be level with you, so that already removes a lot of players who have TVs on stands. The voice functions aren't all that good, as proven in Mass Effect 3 and later TESV: Skyrim. Though you can sometimes get your money's worth.

Is that so, how about a sofa behind you. Will that be a problem?
