What is a great activity for a four year old who loves art?
Would like to see some suggestions for community activities for a four year old who does not like sports but loves to draw and paint.
Making stuff from recycled things.
Painting on wood, paper or t-shirts
designing mugs (like painting on the pattern on a mug)
Molding stuff out of clay and then designing the patterns
You might try checking out local community colleges. Many have programs for kids focused on all kinds of various activities. Your little one will get instruction, opportunity, encouragement and social interaction all in one class.
Check with your local parks and rec dept. They probably offer arts and crafts classes or have workshops before holidays. Same with Michaels and JoAnns fabrics.
