What is your favorite World of Warcraft expansion so far?
Though I'm sure Blizzard will release more world of warcraft expansions in the future, I'm curious to see which favorites people have so far. Personally, my favorite has been Wrath of the Lich King for some time now because of the atmosphere of Northrend and the constant story presence of the Lich King. However I will admit that Mists of Pandaria is charming the pants off me. Oh, also you can say the original un-expanded WoW, if that was your favorite.
I'm absolutely loving Mists of Pandaria so far. There is so much I enjoy about it that I can't cover it all. I like pet battles, I love actually working for your gear, I love the new enviroment, the quests. For once in my WoW lifetime, I enjoy questing.
Healing has been more fun than ever before.
Besides MoP though, I would have to say Burning Crusade was one of my favorite. Although I very much enjoyed wrath. It would be MoP> or = to BC > Wrath > Cata (I didn't play vanilla so I didn't add it).
cataclysm. The massive change to almost everything was awesome. However, the best part is it was so much easier to play the game, almost no wandering through desert for days on end like you had to do in the early days. But MoP could be good, I was just irritated when they up and changed everything you worked so hard for.
I loved vanilla WoW, I was lucky enough to raid Molten core and Black Wing Lair weekly, and it was great fun as the master puller or our merry band of 40 players (sounds a bit risque when I pit it like that),
Burning crusade was fun, long lasting but turned all of my armor and weapons power ranger pink and glowing!
Lich King was great, Like you say, the ever present story line was awesome, and there was a lot of content. Cata just didn't deliver for me. Weak story, and far far to easy to get to max level. Its like the timing was all off, and as by then I was a very casual non guilded player, how the hell did I manage to get to max level in a week? It was just terrible value for money as a non raider. Cata was the reason I stopped playing for over a year.
I am loving Pandaria. It's early days, but for me its everything that Cata was not. There is so much more to do, the talent changes are a massive shift, but are absolutely bloody fantastic and add so much more to the game. Pet battles are fun, the environments are simply stunning and best of all, I feel like a heroic adventurer in a strange new land. They have put the role playing back into MMORPG for me anyway.
Original WoW was the best, I don't know if others feel this way too but I get the feeling that WoW gets easier and easier with every expansion, (Cata was the only exception) but the thing I hate most about WoW expansions is that items you spend months to obtain lose their meaning...
and yes, I agree with XactScienZ, no more wandering in Cata, things that should be easier got easier, not the actual raiding and PVP
Wrath of the Lich King. Being a Shadow Priest at that time was epic, and was very critical in some of the raid fights. Since then I haven't found I enjoy any expansion beyond that.
I have played them all and I must say the Lich King was my favorite. I quit just before patch 5.2 came out so I don't really know if it made MOP any better then what it was.

Are you going to purchase World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor?i am just curious, as an ex-World of Warcraft player considering trying the upcoming expansion, if other video-gamer Hubbers were planning on playing.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, Warlords of Draenor? Many claim this to be the make or break expansion of WoW, praising the 'Garrisons' feature, going back to the original Outland (planet Draenor) amongst other new features. Others however say it's too...
