What are your favourite Nintendo Gamecube games, and why?
The Nintendo Gamecube was one of Nintendo's most critically acclaimed consoles and to this day remains one of the most sought after and valuable gaming machines around. As a video game collector and enthusiast I've decided to go back to the past and get this console again and some games, but what are your personal favourites and why?
Baten Kaitos. Excellent visuals and engaging story. Also the port of Skies of Arcadia was really cool. One of the more unique rpg titles on the console.
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader - good looking early game, spaceship shooter
Resident Evil Remake - A remake of the first Resident evil. Better visuals
Metroid Prime - The return of the Metroid series, FPS, and 3D
Super Smash Bros. Melee - the fan favorite in the series, Smash Bros. so influential that Sony had do their own take on it.
Some of the games I may recommend have been ported, but here are the best ones I remember, in no particular order:
Viewtiful Joe (1 & 2)
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Resident Evil 4
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Beyond Good and Evil (Not exclusive at all, but fantastic game)
Metroid Prime
Super Mario Sunshine
Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Star Fox Adventures (Just try not to think of it as a star fox game)
F-Zero GX
Mario Kart Double Dash
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Also not exclusive, but a lot of fun)
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
If I think of any more I'll post them in a comment. The Gamecube had a lot of really great games.
I would be a very happy person if they ported twin snakes over to one of the newer consoles.
I never knew the GC had such a library that I'd be interested in! Most Nintendo consoles only have 3-5 games I'd play, but I want to try all of these! ^^
@rcorcutt - This is probably why I was a little disappointed with the recent Metal Gear Solid HD collection release. They only had 2 and 3 but left out the first game.
Super Smash Bros. Melee. Favorite fighting game of all time I've logged in so many hours. Some other good ones are Mario Kart: Double Dash, and Paper Mario- the Thousand-year Door. Check out all of these games they are crazy fun if you don't already know.
All those games are excellent, especially Paper Mario! ^^
I've actually hubbed about the cube and one of my favourites....
Viewtiful Joe - the perfect game for the machine.
Resident Evil was fantastic on the 'cube too.
It's a shame that it was a much maligned console as there was plenty of quality available for it.
Me and my friends spent many an hour on Rocky (great fun in 2 player mode) and the launch title Rogue Leader/Squadron game that was bundled with the machine was also brilliant.

What is your all-time favorite video game...hands down?No matter how far technology advances, no matter how amazing the graphics become, nothing will ever take the place of this special game in your heart?

Is the Wii U worth getting for Christmas, and what games are coming in 2015 for the console?Having grown tired of recent "triple A" releases in video games, I decided a few days ago to get out my Gamecube and play one of my favourite games, Super Mario Sunshine. I recalled just how much...

What is your most all-time favorite game of all time!?!?!Mine would have to be a tie between Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo and Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo, with all the Halos close behind
