How do I get my Wii to recognize a second controller?
Help! Everything I read makes it sound so easy! Just get another controller and the Wii will auto detect the 2nd controller? Doesn't work. Playing Mario Bros I can go into the settings screen (or whatever its called) and force it to recognize the 2nd controller I bought which is fine, but I want to play Skylanders with 2 players and there's no settings screen!
- BTW I bought a real Wii controller for my #2 cause the guy said the non-Nintendo models had issues being picked up sometimes. Does the fact that my Wii came with a Motion Plus controller and #2 is not a Motion Plus model?
It's been ages since I've done this but did you try using the red sync buttons on the remote and the unit itself? On the remote, the sync button is under the battery cover. On the unit, the button is under that flap just below the disc slot. Nintendo has a guide with illustrations over here:

I'm looking to buy a new console, but am not sure which one is the best to buy. I've been continuously told how great Xbox live is, how fantastic the Ps3's blue ray player is and how fun the Wii is. With the funds to only get one, it's a little difficult to choose.

How would you feel if Nintendo made games for other consoles? There's been some worrying news about Nintendo in recent times, and many claim it's a harbinger of the company's downfall. In a hypothetical worst case scenario where they had to stop making consoles, how would you feel about seeing the...

My sister (she's 9) likes to play video games and even plays cod with me. What would be a nice system for her? Something little girls enjoy and it won't just sit on a shelf.***Title should have been "video GAME console"***
