Risen 2 Marooned Quest

Updated on February 8, 2014

Risen 2 Marooned Quest

In Risen 2, the nameless hero is marooned on the isle of thieves. Being marooned on an almost barren island with strange natives is inevitable in the young career of any pirate, and this is no different for the nameless pirate. Here the hero must find a way out of the isle of thieves with help from the gnomes on the island. In particular, a gnome named Jaffar has offered to help the hero build a raft. This will guide the hero in collecting the materials for building the raft. The material to collect for building the raft includes ten driftwood, five vines and six shirts.

Risen 2 Collect Ten Driftwood for the Raft

Once the hero escapes from the caved in cavern, he will proceed back to the “port” on the isle of thieves where he will meet Jaffer the gnome. Jaffar the gnome wishes to leave the isle of thieves to collect “auri culci” in his quest the “granne tawo”. Jaffar the gnome therefore wishes to leave the isle for this particular purpose. Jaffar brings the hero back to his humble adobe. Along the way to Jaffar's house, there is a chest. Open it to get the map of the isle of thieves. From Jaffar's house, head north to an intersection. Head west or right to the beach and pick up some driftwood along the beach. These driftwood pieces do not come cheap, as monsters such as the sand devils and the giant crabs “guard” the driftwood pieces. Defeat these mobs to collect the ten driftwood for the raft.

Return to Jaffar's house and search the garden for veins. Pick up the first vine there. Move north to the intersection again and turn right to find the gnomes' village. There are a few gnomes who have gardens in the village. These gardens belong to Zeki, Kaan, Nuri and Ulvi. Head into each garden and pick up one vine from each garden. The hero will be able to collect 5/5 vines in total.
