YuGiOh - Red Eyes B Dragon

Updated on March 21, 2012

YuGiOh! Card Guide - Red-Eyes B. Dragon

Welcome to our information page on the YuGiOh! Card, Red-Eyes B. Dragon (or Red-Eyes Black Dragon, if you want). On this page, you'll find everything you ever wanted to know about Red-Eyes B. Dragon, including a background, a complete release list for both the OCG and the TCG, card images, and up to the minute price comparisons from eBay and Amazon. Whether you're looking to buy a copy of Red-Eyes B. Dragon or check information on it, you're in the perfect place to start.

First of all, we'll clear up the name. In the anime, manga and Japanese Original Card Game, the card is referred to as Red Eyes Black Dragon. In the English-Language TCG, it's always shortened to Red-Eyes B. Dragon. We're not sure why - longer names, like Blue-Eyes White Dragon were written in full on the early cards. If you can fill us in on the reason, let us know in the comments.

Red-Eyes B. Dragon was, of course, the signature card of Joey Wheeler in the original YuGiOh! anime and for that reason it holds a special place in the hearts of many YuGiOh! fans. It has been released on a large number of occassions for the TCG (listed below), starting with the Joey Starter Deck and the Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon booster.

Red-Eyes B. Dragon(first Ed. LOB) was my first True Rare card in the Yugioh TCG. I enjoy playing with it and all it's support. Seeing it on the show is what got me into the Card Game in the first place.
