Journey through life Spiritually

Self-confidence

  • A Journey through My Life

Growing up in an apartheid country was challenging.

I was too young to understand the actual meaning of the apartheid system.

The years I spent back home, now feels so far from my mind. I feel that way from all of my battles over the years in a foreign country.

I had to take on many responsibilities very quickly time wasn't enough to sit down, and dwell.

There is the reason for me growing into a strong individual.

I did not doubt myself back then, and I don't in my present time.

I write to express my thoughts deeply, and earn from my online work.

I don't rely on my earnings, whatever is earned, I am pleased with, and happy for my achievements.

Life has been thus far, good and challenging. I don't give up easily. I continue to pass any hurdles in front of me.

I look forward to my daily obstacles, if any.

I am often faced with someone, or something to make me happy, unhappy, or disappointed. I know how to take it that in.

I try to stand up for myself, and prefer to stand on my own two feet. Holding on to someone else to feel secure, is not my way of staying focused on my problems.

I am confident and full of life.

I enjoy meeting people, and live each day ton what makes me the happiest.

I like to be calm during any situation.

Whatever the present has to offer I can't change the way I see it. If it was meant to be, so it will be there for me.

You can look at life in whichever way you want to. Your path chosen can lead to the end or the beginning. I see my life path as a new beginning and that will be for me each day.

Not all paths are straight, narrow, or tangled up. Some paths can be winding and insecure.

If you choose to dream, continue to dream. It is your life, and you can do whatever you please to.

You can choose to go anywhere in your journey, but the journey you go through in life counts for more than the path you have chosen.

Dedication shows you have tried and sometimes you can't change what already is in your life.

  • What has my Journey until now has shown me in my life?

I have fulfilled my enjoyable life with greater happiness.

I created my healthy lifestyle.

I moved on.

My positive thinking got me to move on.

Lots of Laughter got me feeling better each day.

I improved spiritually.

More calm moments.

I felt less fearful.

I got stronger.

I always have new plans.

I changed in steps.

I faced up to my challenges.

Found my greater purpose with my family.

I have observed my new life and surroundings.

I focused on a new language.

I learned about all kinds of people.

I know the meaning of a true friendship.

My powerful mind gained more of strengths.

The words for me may not have always come out right but I knew what I meant by those words from my heart.

My Great Journey

  • Look at life in the following way:

When you are born your body is fragile, or like a sponge.

It is a special time when you absorb what is around you. As the years go by, you take in everything more and more around you.

You tend to grow into your own ways and habits formed over time, stick with you. The behaviors are also formed for yourself.

Once you get older, the habits formed and behaviors absorbed makes you the stable person you eventually become. You then realize that you have taken in far too much.

In the same way, I have absorbed everything around me over my years.

Sometimes you can get to the point where you can't take in anymore, and feel helpless with yourself.

What you try to take in remains on the surface temporarily. This happens when you grow older.

One has to understand the reason for change to move on.

Learn to be independent relying on others won't get you anywhere.

Life is one journey, and to experience that journey you got to live with yourself all the way.

Accept yourself, and be able to move on from all kinds of experiences.

One of the hardest parts about life is when you fail to see and correct your mistakes.

If you are affected in a negative way change your behavior.

You must get up when you fall, don't feel weak at your worst times.

Don't attend every function you are invited to, take time-out and be yourself.

You don't have a need to prove yourself to anyone.

When you try something new it allows you to succeed, or to go further to new accomplishments.

If you want a true friendship you must have a solid foundation. When you have both you will succeed in having a lasting connection.

I showed my strengths at my weakest points, and grew to know of my capabilities.

I appreciate my life, and do what I know has opened my mind to a new life.

  • What has Improved in my Lifestyle?

Reading.

My writing has shown me so much more about life.

My idea of meeting people makes me feel positive about my life.

Daily long walks.

In sharing my experiences with my family I have grown to see a new person in me.

My plans to travel have enlightened my ideas.

Good health and communication.

I created my own love.

I have looked at my small mistakes, and coped with that before I looked at where I had fallen the hardest.

I chose my friends carefully and know not to be like those who are not in my group.

I don't live my life thinking I want to be like the other person, or want what the other person has in their life.

People suffer when they don't know how to, and what to do.

The decisions you make reflects on your life's journey.

I don't limit myself to a challenge.

I believe I can have, and can be the way I want to.

My first steps taken had made me this powerful mindful person.

My happiness depended on me then as it does now.

I wanted to feel connected to my life again, and that has come true for me all over again.

Life is meaningful and can be well-experienced if you had gone through the rough times.

I feel courageous to have grown into my own person.

I fixed what I knew would hurt me. I did not walk away from what I knew will be a great challenge.

I know more now than I had in my past.

I was taught to do what I felt was right for me.

I did not take heed to what others wanted me to do. I am very glad for not listening to others.

I know to live realistically.

When people hold you from going forward, or from your daily schedules they don't think about your needs.

It can be frustrating when people behave in this way.

Sometimes you can try to go forward, and make a living of what you have, but when you feel held back from your goals that can drain you off your energy.

People who don't have a sense of direction are not worth your time.

You can't have everything in life. Don’t think of what is far-fetched.

Keeping up with the JONES’S is going to a very low point in your life.

Learn to be yourself.

My quote

''I believe that writing opens the mind to all kinds of experiences and when you believe you become hopeful in life.''

My Great Life

Writing has opened my mind to many aspects of life.

How positive you are my friend. You have full of energy and it is reflected in your writings-full of confidence and courage. Reading your hub is a different experience, more so, this one as I felt reading the book of Robin Sharma. What you convey is only positive energy and message. I fully enjoyed reading this post. Keep on writing. All the best.

This is a great introspective to be passed along to your next generations as a profile of who you became and why.

It is also a fine challenge to me and to other Hubbers to do this same look at ourselves, what we believe, what lessons were important, how we fashioned our own lives.

This is a fine Hub. I feel I know you better for having read it.

I really enjoyed reading about your life journey. Yes, the path of life is not straight. I imagine growing up in your apartheid environment would force a person to either become strong or wither away. Through your writing, I see a very strong woman who has made her way through life in a very positive manner. I really enjoy reading your work. Your journey is a good one and I am glad you are sharing it with us.
