Bring It: P90X Day 83
P90X is a gift. It was created by Tony Horton, and while it wasn't necessarily meant for the Holidays, it has helped maintain holiday weight gain during the season of goodies, drinks and merriement. P90X is a life committment. So whether it is Chrismtas or any normal day of the week, it still needs to happen. The program is based off of muscle confusion. If you push it your hardest, the variety throughout the program will give you results.
For me, this is my personal journey to test the program. I want to see if it works for normal everyday people. I am a mother, a wife, a taxi, a cook... and about any other hat you want to put on me. Yet, I have been able to focus on this training even through the most hectic of times - the holiday season.

Bring It
Today was KenpoX. I was glad it was KenpoX day because with it being Christmas Eve, I can't imagine a better present to having to do a workout. Knowing today was going to be busy, I got up and pushed play right away. I did not check Hubpages, I did not check Facebook, and I didn't even have my cup of coffee. While I may have had other things I needed to get done, I knew I would come up with an excuse not to do my workout later if I didn't do it right away. The other stuff would have to be done anyway, so there was no excuses that I could use.
Surprisingly, I had so much energy for this workout. That was impressive since I was up until almost 4 a.m wrapping gifts. I worked hard and I did it. Eventually everything came together. And now... well, now it is time to go celebrate Christmas with family and friends!
1 Day until Christmas
As you are all pretty well aware, there is only one day left until Christmas. I hope you have your shopping done. I finally finished mine yesterday, and then I sent my husband out this morning for a few extra stuff. We decided to teach our kids the gift of giving. We gave them $10 and let them shop for all their own gifts at the dollar store. They had a blast and I got some peace and quiet.
So, in the spirit of the season... here is the final coutdown.
The 1 Thing You Should Do Today
- Have yourself a Merry Christmas! Today is the start of the celebration. I hope you take some time to relax and enjoy the time spent with family and friends. Remember it is the season of giving.
