Imagine to a little Thai girl who was born in a penniless family……no one in her family could speak English. She graduated from Nursing University where there was not enough English instructions. She repeatedly failed English exams. Despite these situations, she dreamed to speak English fluently and wanted to work in Canada one day. Does this sound crazy? I think so.

You might guess that little Thai girl was me. You are right! You might also think……she is still so little. I agree.

I was 7 years old……. it was a sunny day during the lunch break at the local primary school in Bangkok Thailand. My close friend….. her name was Panida called me with an excited voice in front of the class room. “Hay Ladda, Ladda can you write this?” L…O….V….E…………………

Seriously, I did not know what that was. However, her strange hand writing impressed me. From the back of the classroom, I was staring and wondering “how could she write those odd word? I wanted to be able to do it! My close friend created a wonderful music in my heart. Unfortunately, my parents could not afford English Classes for me. The music of leaning English……………. was suddenly stopped.

It was not until I graduated from nursing university, the music of learning English started again One of my friend inspired and encouraged me to work as a nurse in Canada. I still could not earn enough for English Classes because I helped my brother support 5 people in our family…..my mother who had heart disease, my father who had chronic peptic ulcer, my sister who separated with her husband and she had two children.

Anyway, I made up my mind that I would not let financial situation stop me at this time. I kept reading and reading “Don't Die with Your Music Still in You”.

That made me decide to improve my English skills by myself. I woke up at 4 am everyday for entire year to read English grammar.

Every evening, I practiced speaking English by myself in my bed room because I had no one to speak with. I played in two roles. One was myself and another one was Leonardo Dicaprio.

I watched English movies whenever I have free time to practice English listening…..Titanic was one of my favorite English movies. I watched Titanic over a hundred times……in order to learn the language not for a special scene like someone.

I kept practicing English by myself until 5 years later, I saved enough money to go to English School.

It seemed my music is reaching its peak. At the same time, I had to overcome the saddest time in my life when My mother passed away in 2009 and My father passed away the following year.

Even though it was truly sad….., I had to accept the fact that they both died.

I knew that my parents would be very proud of me, if I persevered to speak English fluently and come to work in Canada.

Then I got up stronger……………..I work harder……… save money and applying as a skill-worker in Vancouver.

Now, I am here…..I am here where I wanted to be. Even though it took me over 10 years, I finally could prove that other opinions were wrong. I was capable to make my Music to be heard…………………………

When I look back at the age of 7 up until who I am today………standing in front of you. Speaking English fluently. I wondered how I could make my music to be heard in this circumstance while other people kept telling me it was not possible. Then I realized……because of a secret from Dr. Wyne Dyer’s book. “Love”……Love is the key that will help you overcome any obstacle in your life. When you do what you love, you don’t care how many times you fail.
