Trying to Lose Weight?

Who isn't? But there's a lot people don't know about exercise, like what ACTUALLY works and what doesn't. At the bottom of this article there is a link to my other articles.

I was in the same spot you may be in now, stuck trying to lose weight, feeling self conscious and unhappy. Sounding a little close to home? Let's change that.

First and foremost, knowledge is power, but no one is born knowing this stuff and it's not the easiest stuff to just figure out on your own. Otherwise everyone would be fit or at least more fit.

It's taken me a few years to learn most of this stuff and it's not all from reading blogs and health articles or going off of what people say works, much of it is trial and error on my part, I found things that work and I found things that don’t work. I'd like to share these things I found out with you so that you don't have to go through all the trial and error yourself, you can just get straight to it!

Now there are a couple things to remember when taking on a healthy change in your life. I talk a lot about weight loss, and of course that's the goal, but when starting your weight can lie, or even exaggerate. Choose a single time of day to weigh yourself and stick to it, either after you wake up or before you go to bed are good choices. If the timing is inconsistent you're not going to get a good gauge on what's happening as your body can fluctuate between 1-5 pounds in a day. One great tool you should use is a body tape measure, it allows you to measure yourself, so you can see the inches getting smaller and smaller regardless of your weight.

Your weight could stay the same for a long time but your body could be going through it's own size change, and lets face it, when the weights not dropping, seeing the inches go down can be huge booster, letting you know all that hard work and discipline hasn't been for nothing! There are a few links below to amazon for body tape measures, they range from $3-4 on there which is a heck of a lot better than the $30 I spent on mine at a nutrition store, (and that was with a so called store discount).

I don’t want to bog you down with too much information so I’ll create a few different articles all with great tips on losing weight, getting healthy and having an all round holistic healthy life!

Let’s recap, knowledge is power, so arm yourself with as much knowledge as you can, the information in my articles are for everyone and if followed will guarantee not only weight loss, but a better all around life! With that said, each person reacts differently to different things and you’ll have to find the right combination for you and your body type. Stick with it and you’ll see the difference, I guarantee it.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or feedback.
