Essential Fatty Acids

A diet filled with saturated fat is a recipe for disaster. It is better to fill your diet with polyunsaturated fats like the ones that are found in hemp nutrition. Essential fatty acids are required in order for the Nervous, Circulatory and immune systems to function properly. The body cannot produce omega 3 or 6 naturally. It has to be sourced from hemp seed nutrition. They are two types of essential fatty acids;

Omega 3

The omega 3 is the alpha-linolenic acid. The main sources for omega 3’s are fish, flaxseed, soya, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and green leafy vegetables. The king source of omega 3 is from Hemp seed nutrition. Hemp seed has the perfect ratio of omega 3 to 6. This further enhances the synergetic effect of essential fatty acids. Omega 3 has anti-inflammatory properties. It is concentrated in the brain. It is needed in order to break down other fats. Hemp seed nutrition provides 7 times more omega 3’s than fish.

Omega 6

The most misunderstood and abused fatty acid. This essential fatty acid is abundant in the western diet. However, it is normally consumed in the absence of its brother omega 3. The omega 6 fatty acid will only serve as an inflammatory in the body without its brother. This fatty acid is also called linolenic acid. This essential fatty acid is found in Burger King, McDonalds and KFC. Basically all meats contain this essential fatty acid.

Lowering Blood LDL Cholesterol Levels

People who eat lots of flax and hemp seed tend to have a higher HDL cholesterol levels. This is the good cholesterol. High HDL levels are synonymous with a healthy heart and circulatory system. On the other hand, LDL levels are boosted by regular fatty meats. Having a high LDL is synonymous to having bad cholesterol. This can be easily alleviated by removing meat from the diet and supplement with hemp nutrition.

A high level of LDL cholesterol leads to more triglycerides in the blood. Triglycerides are blobs of fat flowing in the blood veins and arteries. Triglycerides can also harden and block the pathways of the circulatory system resulting in heart attacks and strokes. HDL cholesterol cancels out the bad effects caused by LDL cholesterol. Therefore, one of the benefits of hemp nutrition is breaking down and eliminating triglycerides in the blood.

Lowering Blood Pressure

The anti-hypertensive properties of hemp nutrition can be traced to its ant-inflammatory function. It helps to alleviate the stress level of the heart. Omega 3’s contains a component called Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which actually operates within cardiac cells and decrease their arrhythmia potential. DHA is normally isolated and used in all major hypertension medications.

Did You Know That?

The correct ratio of essential fatty acid omega 6 to omega 3 is 1:4 or 1:3. However, the western diet ratio is 25:1. This is going in the opposite direction of what is healthy. Omega 6 is more easily absorbed than omega 3. Therefore, the ratio has to be higher for Omega 3 for it to be absorbed. At the ratio of 25:1 the omega 3’s do not stand a chance.

This imbalance is strongly attributed to heart disease, cancer, obesity and depression. Multiple researches’ has correlated most modern sicknesses to the imbalance of the essential fatty acids in the diet.

Improve Cardiovascular Circulation & Function

In order to improve the health of the heart and avoid heart attacks and strokes, stabilizing blood pressure and cholesterol level is necessary. Hemp nutrition provides globular proteins. This type of protein is the elementary building blocks for red blood cells, capillaries, veins, arteries and of course the heart. Supplying the body with the necessary building blocks for repair and generating healthy cells is very important in maintaining a healthy heart.

Hemp Nutrition also consist of the vitamins A, C, E and B complexes. Vitamins A and C increases the rate of cell repair and helps to maintain the structural integrity of the whole circulatory system. Vitamin E is the main circulatory rejuvenater. Free radicals that may damage the heart and circulatory tissues are neutralized by the de-oxidizing effect of vitamin E. Free radicals damages the circulatory system by making the cells unstable, which in turn make other neighboring cells unstable (Chain Effect). This leads to accelerated aging and damage to the circulatory system. Therefore, vitamin E from hemp nutrition slows down the aging process and improves the overall health of the Circulatory system.
