How To Make Your Life Like Paradise

Updated on September 18, 2013

Your Own Private Paradise

When we hear the word Paradise, right away we think of a exotic island, looking over the Grand Canyon, living in a beautiful home on the ocean and so many other things that we call Paradise.

I want to tell you my idea on how to make your life like Paradise.

Paradise can be right in front of us and we don't even see it. Just to be alive and healthy and happy is Paradise to me. I love life and treasure every waking minute of it, especially now for me, being clean and sober again.

Life can be shaped any way you wish to shape it, and it is all up to each one of us just how we will do it. Everyone has in there mind what they would like out of their lives and how they want to live their lives as well.

Unfortunately, some of us got off track in life some how and headed down the wrong road, and then there are those that did make it big and live their lives in Paradise.

When we say Paradise, so many of us think of material things like the homes and the exotic Islands, but the truth is to me, that Paradise lies within all of us. It's just that many of us can not find it.

We really don't need all those bells and whistles to make us happy in life. Don't get me wrong if you are fortunate enough to have those find things in life that is great, but if you are one of those who doesn't have that luxury, don't be upset.

You can make you own little Paradise right in you heart and soul and be able to share what you call Paradise with your spouse, parents, friends or whoever you wish.

You make this by being just a plan old happy person. Happiness cost nothing and to be happy for no cost at all is the best Paradise I can think of, To be able to enjoy your life in which you created, and share it with whom you wish.

I always made my life with my wife such a beautiful thing no matter where we lived, no matter how much money we had. When we bought our homes through the years, we bought fixer ups and made them just the way we wanted our Paradise to be. All our ideas, all our personal touches and hard work and sweat.

When we were through, we stepped back and looked at what we did, just the two of us, and said, "This is just like Paradise" our little Paradise that we created on our own. That's worth more than any exotic Island or Ocean front home in my book.
