Learn How to Hypnotise Yourself

Perhaps you have never been hypnotised before and for one reason or another you do not wish to engage the services of a hypnotherapist.

My husband and I are fully qualified clinical hypnotherapists in private practice in the Isle of Man. We together designed an audio CD titled "Treatment Preparation" that you can download from our ManxHypnosis website and play on your iPod or MP3 player at home.

We require every client who seeks our help as hypno-psychotherapists to play this audio for at least two weeks prior to them starting therapy with us.

The audio is designed to teach anyone how to hypnotise themselves. All you have to do is play the audio every day for at least two weeks in order for you to learn this wonderful skill for life.

When we first started treating people we used to spend at least one session teaching our clients the art of self hypnosis so they could suspend the analytical critical mind access the subconscious in order to affect the changes they desired.

We found that some people were unable to relax especially when it was their first time and everything was so new including their surroundings. Some people also had it in their heads that we were in some way going to be in control of them and though logically they knew this was not going to be the case they were unable to stop their minds and their thinking long enough to relax into hypnosis.

It was for this reason that we decided to create a CD that would teach people of all ages and all backgrounds how to relax into the feeling of hypnosis in the privacy of their own homes. Once they had played the CD for two weeks they would come for therapy and in every case, able to enter the hypnotic state with ease.

The audio is designed to teach anyone how to enter hypnosis quickly and confidently for the purposes of accessing the subconscious to change unwanted behaviours and habits. The audio simply teaches Self-Hypnosis and when combined with suggestions fro the changes you desire it is a very effective tool.

The audio is not a substitute for Hypno-Psychotherapy when there is an underlying emotional root cause to a problem as it does not involve looking for such problems or searching through past memories as is what happens in Analytical Hypnotherapy.

The audio isn't designed as a panacea but many people have reported their symptoms releived and in some cases vanished as a result of playing the CD regularly.

Once you have learned how to hypnotise yourself there is no reason why you cannot then make some very important life style changes in your life by incorporating some positive affirmations and suggestions into your private self-hypnosis sessions.

• Stop putting yourself down
• Stop feeling stressed
• Stop forgetting
• Stop feeling pain
• Stop nail biting

You have the choice of the audio with my voice or Xavier's depending on whether you respond better to a male or female. If you are not sure simply ask yourself who you got on better with, your father or your mother.

On the same page we also have an audio for download titled "How to Hypnotise Yourself by Xavier Nathan" and this too serves the same purpose but is designed for people who are only interested in learning the art of self hypnosis and are not interested in undergoing hypnotherapy with a therapist but simply wish to treat themselves.

I myself am in private practice with my husband Xavier a.k.a. The methods and techniques taught in our audio CDs are presented as thoughtfully and as professionally as we would have expected them presented to us. There are many experts in this world but not all experts have the ability to teach their craft. I believe that we have created an excellent teacher in this audio.
