The more Molly and Gus (Alexis Bledel) gets to know one another Gus (Zachary Levi) and Molly is fascinated with him. But she's also confused.
Gus is scatterbrained and preoccupied. He is hiding that he is suffering from a brain aneurysm, and lost his short-term memory. This means that every day is a brand new day, his life starts afresh. Every day when he sees Molly he struggles to remember who she is and has to fall in love with her all over again. He is unwilling to share this with Molly and causes some problems.
