Lactose Free Cakes - Milk Free Banana Bread or Cake
When You Need to Bake for Lactose Intolerance Family Members
Lactose Free Banana Loaf
Ingredients
250g White Sugar
250ml Oil
220ml Flour
2ml Salt
2ml Baking Powder
2ml Nutmeg
2ml Baking Soda
3 Eggs
500ml Banana Pulp
100g Pecan/Walnuts finely chopped
Method

Preheat the oven to 180°Celsius

Sift the dry ingredients together

Grease a couple of small baking pans, or a long loaf pan

Cream the sugar and oil.

Add the eggs one by one blending it well to the oil/sugar mixture

Add the sifted dry ingredients to the egg sugar mixture, blend well

Add the finely chopped nuts

Blend until evenly distributed

Add the Banana pulp and mix until well blended.

Pour the mixture into the greased baking pans.

Bake in the centre of the oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven, place it on a cooling rack

Remove from the baking pans after 15 minutes.
Cooks tip:
Keep the mixer running from point 4 through to the end of point 9.
