Living Today Like There Is No Tomorrow

Updated on October 13, 2011

Life is but a vapor, here one moment, then it's gone. Time is slipping through our hands like falling sand we die daily, everyday is a journey headed somewhere. The ink of our existence continually creates our legacy, each moment continually is making history completely irreversible, yet with immeasurable impact that far out-lives the life.

Sometimes life is permitted long lasting years until the wrinkled brow and feeble the body is used to it's fullest capacity.

Sometimes as unfair as it may seem life is snuffed immaturely, whether in the middle-age, early-adulthood, teens, childhood or infancy. Sometimes we ask God why, sometimes we get answers and sometimes we have to trust His plan. Nevertheless we have to face the inescapable, painful reality that we are going to die.

Researchers revealed that every thought we think makes a permanent impression on our brains, therefore recording both positive and negative interpretations of who we are as a human being. " What would be the title and contents of your story?"

"What are you contributing to your legacy?"

" Do you live life carelessly?"

"Is your thoughts, decisions, and your ways of living something you are not afraid to share with those who come behind you when your gone?"

" Have you made peace with God and secured your eternal destiny?"

" If you knew you had but a short time left on this earth, how would you spend it?"

" What if you die with no previous warning?"

I am by no means trying to be doom and gloom, but we must ALL come to the conscious conclusion that we must live like we are dying. Is that in a sad, hopeless, defeated mindset? Absolutely not!!!!!!!! We should take our life very seriously, but enjoy it to the FULLEST! Sometimes asking ourselves a few solemn questions will instigate us to think more deeply and snap ourselves into making what necessary personal changes we need to make to make a positive difference that will outlive us.

We don't have time for bitterness, anger, double-crossing, jealously, pride, envy, hate, bad-attitudes, selfishness, betrayal or any evil character faulty. We may not ever be perfect, but we sure can die trying.

We do have time TODAY for forgiveness, love, kindness, generosity, temperance, complements, kisses, hugs, thank you's, I love you's, sharing, dream achieving, communicating, prayer, commitment, positive thinking and so much more. " Cram every God-given day FULL of these things and you will effect your world forever."

" So what if you made some really bad mistakes, use them as a learning tool, go forward and never look back. When those watching sees you were an overcomer they will be inspired and given hope no-matter how low they have lived their lives."

Whether you are writer or not, you are an author, your life is being played out and read everyday. The complex detail of it's pages portrays a character that one of it's readers is sure to imitate.

What will the dash between the dates on your stone say about you? Will your epitaph witness waste or will it tell every generation that passes by of a life well-lived?

Your advice - live in joy - is as good as it is timeless. Did you know how deep it goes?

Chemists have determined that each emotion produces a unique chemistry in the brain which is then distributed to the body. Your dominant thoughts and emotions become encoded as deeply as the cellular level. If you tend toward happy, you get happy literally through and through! All the more reason to write and read posts as uplifting as this one - good show!
