My Personal Take on The Law of Attraction
When I think of the Law of Attraction my mind quickly reverts to that cheesy self help book. However, that's not what I am going to write about. I have actually had this theory for quite some time now. I tend to realize that what I personally think of in a positive manner, remains quite positive. That goes for negative thoughts as well. First things first: I am not saying we should become robots who don't think for ourselves. I am just getting into the topic of positive thoughts.
Remember when you were young? Christmas morning was this beautiful and magical thing. The older you get, the less you view it as beautiful and magical. Well why is that? probably because, you no longer think of it as magical. I believe that anything we want is within our power. I've had this discussion with many different friends, some who believe me, others who think its an insane theory. I pride myself in saying that I don't believe in jealousy. I really think that anything you want is within your grasp.
Now this doesn't mean that I think that if you can sit at home on your butt praying to win the lottery that you will. I just believe that our thoughts are very precious pieces of our lives. I can't stand pessimistic people. I actually will cut off communication with someone once I realize that they're negative. Allowing negativity in your life is solely up to you. I know that some people just have bad breaks. Bad things happen, its part of being alive. However, dwelling on negatives only makes things worse. Its like falling into a downward hole, and you're in complete control of that fall.
I realize as I am writing this that I am beginning to sound like I'm getting ready to sell you something. However, that isn't the case at all. I am just trying to shed some positive light on the life you live. If you aren't happy, well then, do something about it. You're in control of about 99% of your misfortunes. Instead of wallowing in a sea of self pity get up and do something about it. You will only be unhappy if you allow yourself to be. Remain positive and level headed, and see how far it takes you. You will be surprised by the results you get.
