PeRfEcT! at being imperfect
Perfection in Imperfections
I have been in this world for over thirty plus years now, and I still have not figured out just what it means to be perfect. I know what the meaning of the word perfect is, I am just not sure if it is an attainable goal for me, or anyone else for that matter. I think my imperfections are what make me who I am.
I have watched so many people try to achieve this so-called role of having the perfect life. They spend huge amounts of money in their pursuit to find what they believe to be their perfect dream house, practically kill themselves in the gym, doing hour after hour of excruciating back breaking exercise, to get that perfect body they see in the magazines, and then after all that, these same people go out and spend even more money getting plastic surgery to fix anything they consider a flaw, and expensive designer clothes all so they can be fit into the mold they have made their goals of perfection.
I mean how fun do you really think life can be if you waste it, trying to fit some cookie cutter mold of what people think your life should be like. Life is much more fun when you don't waste it worrying about trying to be so perfect. Enjoy whatever it is you decide to do, no matter how much it steps outside the mold of others view of perfection. Keep doing it even if you fail a few times, failure in your life is meant to be a life lesson you learn from, not some disgraceful stain and sometimes mistakes turn out not to be mistakes at all.
Life to me is about all my twenty thousand flaws, and lessons that I have learned along the way. I do not have time to waste worrying about what people think of me, nor do I care. I live to make my family and myself happy. I see so many people each day that live a lie just to try to appear perfect, how boring. Your life is nobody's business but your own it is alright to fall apart every once in a while. It just proves your human, gives you a little something called character. If somebody is concerning themselves with your life, continue being happy, and give them a reason to be jealous.
