While the major chains like GNC and Vitamin Shoppe do not carry pro hormones, they does carry many of the supplements needed to run a proper, and safe cycle. Pro hormones(PH's) are available at independent retailers, and online stores. Both places can very often offer very little information on exactly what to do, how, and when regarding these sometimes controversial supplements. Please note that all of the listed products are fully legal in the United States at the time of writing.

May this write up be a tool for you to use, for the guys who come to you, and are not sure what a proper cycle is to look like, and how to post cycle therapy (PCT).  On occasion guys may not fully know what they are taken, and can mistake it for a "test booster." Very often, guys have been told very little on what they are supposed to do. I have written this to provide information, support, and clarity.

First, here are is a small sample of the trade names of commonly used PH's divided into compound classes:
Superdrol/S-drol
Phera Plex/p-plex
Epistane/Havoc/E-stane
Halodrol./Halovar

E Pol/d-drol

Spawn

The One

If one mentions one of the above, he has done, or is proposing to do a prohormone cycle. Notice the male gender references; this is intentional. Prohormones are not to be used by women under any circumstances.

PH's are typically run in 3-4 week cycles, followed by a 3-4 week post cycle therapy(PCT).
Possible side effects include, but are not limited to:
-increased blood pressure/headaches
-increased cholesterol levels (raised LDL/low HDL)
- acne
-prostate aggravation
-gynocomastia "gyno"
-raised liver values

So, to run a proper cycle one would want to take precautions against the above side effects. To do this, a proper cycle support and post cycle will be run.
Please note that the below list includes cycle specific supplements, and does not cover other essential basics such as, a good multi-vitamin, fish oils, ect.....

Cycle Support:

Anabolic Innovations Cycle Support: 2 scoops a day in separate doses, morning and evening. Dose at least 2 hours apart from PH doses, as interference may occur.

Post Cycle
When coming off a cycle, natural tesosterone is suppressed, and estrogen and cortisol will rebound. Therefore, we must take precautions to put the body's hormonal balance back in it's normal place.

-ALRI's Restore: Take 3 a day the first week, starting the day after the PH cycle ends. Weeks 2-3 do 2 per day. Week 4 take 1 pill in either the morning or right before bed.

-Vitamin Shoppe 7-keto DHEA: Starting 1 week after ending the PH cycle, take 1 in the morning, and 1 in the early afternoon.
