Take Time For Yourself

Updated on April 24, 2018

There comes a time when we need to slow down and reevaluate our priorities. As mother's we always take the weight of the world on our shoulders. Admist trying to take care of our children we also have to take care of ourselves. Managing time is very important for your everyday life and will ensure success. I know my day to day agenda keeps me guessing as to what will happen next. As mother's we need to learn to mulitask and juggle anything that comes our way. Even though we may experience a few hiccups here and there the important factor is that we learn and we keep on truckin.

We have to come to an understanding in our mind and in our hearts that we can handle the next challenge ahead. We never get more then what we can handle. If you happen to be a working mom then you know a thing or two about juggling. It's in our nature to be able to do everything and anything at a moment's notice and we always do it right. Throughout the day we have two jobs that need our upmost attention and patience. It may seem alot and overwhelming in the beginning but you will see that in no time you will be a pro.

Admist everyone and everything that we take care of we often forget about our looks. Have you ever walked out the house with two different shoes on? Or forget about those curlers in your hair? Laugh about it! It's only natural for a mother to be out of sorts once in awhile. I say if it makes you happy to wear t-shirt and jeans to your sons baseball game then do it! Be confident in your skin. Never be ashamed of the fact that you still have stretch marks or still have a little tummy bulge, it will go away with a little work in no time.

However, if your really feeling overwhelmed and are depressed I advise you to please talk to someone. Take time out of your day just for you. During your lunch break go sit in a park and just enjoy your sorroundings or listen to your favorite music. Whether you just had a baby or on your third one your not above being overwhelmed sometimes. Please do not be afraid to ask for help or to let a love one know of your feelings, no matter how bad your thoughts may seem to you. It's better to let them out then to keep it inside of you.

Remember, there is nothing that you can't accomplish in your life. You are strong and amazing.
