The Secret of Healthy Diet

If we talk and discussing about diet is never really end. The overweight is not personal problem anymore. But now become an international problem. We have to know a lot of problems would arise with overweight, beside weaken our self confidence but we have to be aware with various diseases behind the overweight. I know there are many hubs talk about diet. But I want to write it with different side. I hope this hub useful for us.

Actually the secret of diet plus how to be slim as well is how made this diet become our life style. But before start doing this secret we have to consider about the genetics factor, activity level, and the history of our health. Like eyeglasses, the diet and slimming program for each individual totally different. Please check this out!

Clear and realistic

Lose weight not only means reducing numbers on the scales. But the important thing is change the eating pattern and our lifestyles, that need clear objectives. If the goal is we want to have a body like J-Lo, Beyonce Knowles, or Paris Hilton, believe me, we will quickly frustrated because they are a who have perfect body is only one percent of the population of women in this world. Don't do diet because others, but because of our own convictions to change the eating patterns become more quality and more healthy. so that the purpose of obtaining slimming body can be achieved.

Making plan

We can run a good plan if there are clear targets, including plans in slimming body. Make a specific target. so our plans become more focused. like, I want to lose 20 pounds in 2 days. are you kidding! We must establish a realistic plan, such as I want to lose one kilogram in one week with the seriousness and discipline.

The realistic diet program

Choose the best diets program which can run in the long term. Don't be tempted with all sorts of diets that doing by celebrities. Any diet you choose, be careful with the list below which .....

  • Gave less than 1000 calories per day.
  • Promises drastic weight loss in a short time (we actually can quickly return to the original weight).
  • Unbalance food composition, eliminating the major food groups, such as carbohydrates. or pressing one particular foods, such as can only eat fruit and vegetables.
  • Requires us to consume vitamins or other additional minerals.
  • Allows us to change our eating pattern drastically. These changes will be difficult to follow for the long term and bad for the health effects.

Don't make you starving

For people who make them starving in diet, although they'll get the faster result, But finally it make us often angry, weak and make us turn to sweet food , crispy and usually high in calories. Hungry for too long it will reduce the speed of the body in burning fat, because body keep the fat for energy reserves. Because of that.........

  • Don't survive more than four hours without eating. Better consume snack like low fat yoghurt with the fruit taste. or a small piece of wheat toast with fat-free cream cheese.
  • Better to eat five or six times with small portions than three times meals with large portions. This way helps to improve metabolism and stabilize blood sugar. so that more effective in burning fat.
  • Add "healthy foods" on our menu, such as fruit. seeds (soy beans) and fish.

Don't be afraid with vegetables

The failure in diet are too many elements of the protein, whereas a successful diet is combining the "green" and "white" element. "green" means vegetables, such as lettuce, green mustard, spinach, long bean, broccoli, green bean, asparagus, zucchini, cabbage or cauliflower. "White" means materials that contain low-fat protein, such as turkey, chicken, shrimp, crabs, seashells, fish, tuna, egg whites and tofu. An appropriate way to combining vegetables and protein is by saute. Such as broccoli or greens mustard saute with olive oil and garlic. It must be delicious.

Knowledge of Health and Nutrition

The better our knowledge, the greater our chances of living healthier. we also must recognize the kinds of allergies that we might have for certain foods. Like after consuming a high carbohydrate foods (cereal, bread, bananas) there is a change of energy drastically, we might be sensitive to insulin. so we felt not excited about doing physical activity.

The best part of diet is restrict carbohydrate which contain starchy. eat lots of rice, white bread, biscuits, pasta, cereals containing sugar, just add a little nutrition but inhibits weight loss.Maybe boiled potatoes is the best choice.

Be sure to consume two pieces of fruit every day, no more during the first week in the schedule of our diet. fruit is very important to add fiber. but consume more than two portions a day will slow the process of weight loss. Consuming little salt is the beat way to lose weight.

Doing exercise

When we started the diet, our body immediately identify any changes. and began to slow down metabolism to conserve energy. It will decreasing the burning fat. So we need exercise to increase metabolism again. exercise 30 minutes every day far more than two hours but only occasionally and not regularly. To be more optimal, don't take a break more than a minute. Try tips below to give us more spirit.

  • Try to focus not only sports, but makes physical activity as a part of life. choose the stairs than elevators, if you can park away from the mall. Do these things with joy, such as: cycling, gardening, car washing, ironing, and other activities. Enough physical activity each day is the same with doing exercise.
  • Change our exercise form. by replacing the type of exercises that use different muscles, we can increase the burning of calories.
  • Doing exercises under the morning sun will speed up the metabolism.

Have strong faith

Discipline is the main goal if there are a lot of temptations around us. Just imagine that we have to close our eyes when our friend ordered our favorite steak, the smell is tempting faith....Yummy! If the temptation was too strong, we can break it one time. no problem. Instead we say, "I failed diets, I order a Big Mac again". Forgive ourselves, and returned to the right track as soon as possible and don't let this happen again or it will interfere our diet programs. .

Reward yourself

By giving ourselves reward for every achievement, this give us more spirit. This not only when we success in lose weight at the end of the week. But also when we can managed ourself doing regular exercise. Choose a "safe" gift, like funny socks or our favorite CD than five pieces of tiramisu.

Be patient !

We usually rush to see the results and often forget the process. We want to get dressed jeans with a size 27 if previously we always wore jeans with a size 29. Don't be like this, our bodies will be quickly exhausted, if too much push. We must be patient because of weight problems can't be solved overnight. Ideally, one kilogram is removed within one week, then to removed 10 kg need about 13 weeks. Too long, dear, unfortunately if we sacrifice our health.

Just peace !

The last secret to get slimmer body immediately is only peace, with the fact that every individual is unique. And everyone has different body shapes, as well as in fat, build muscle or burn calories. The basic shape of our bodies was genetically determined. if we can not accept this fact, we will not succeed because trying to change things which we can't change (except through surgery). we must achieve the ideal body weight and healthy eating patterns, not the body shape which genetically and physiologically impossible to achieved.

When we are success in diet, don't easily satisfied, remain active in exercise and continue to consume a variety of vegetables and low-fat protein, also increase the amount of carbohydrates which we must avoid and consume more fruits. The whole, women should consume at least 1200 calories per day.

If we do the best for our bodies and do it with love, our bodies will appreciate as well. and not only slim, We also be happy.

      I give so many thanks to all of you who giving your time to visit this hub. Okay..we want slimming body and loss our weight but the important thing is how to made it healthy. And the body can accept it as a balancing between mind, soul and physical activity.

      I have a wonderful input from "Quill" that the we have serious about what we are eating, because so many fast food around us and it offer unhealthy food.

      And for Janny thanks for share your though about faith and prayer influence the losing weight program. And I think it work. In some case, we have to patient and give all the result by praying.       Excellent hub. I like how you incorporate some faith in that. I had seen a news piece that a place in Atlanta Georgia a church was having a losing weight program and they used not only healthy eating and nutrition but faith and prayer to help lose weight. So that is nice you did that.
