#1 Inner Peace through Faith, Meditation, and Prayer

Throughout history, a huge majority of the human race has believed in a power greater than ourselves. You can call Him whatever makes you feel comfortable. The fact is that he is the Great I AM. "God's name, the I Am, reveals the fullness of His nature. All of God's nature and attributes are embodied in His name", according to The Church of Yahweh.

Accept Him. Allow Him to bless you with peace. Meditation and prayer are great ways to relax and clear your mind from all the stress this world has thrust upon you. It opens you up to your personal relationship with "I Am" which is peaceful in itself. Reading inspirational and spiritual daily devotions will provide much needed ease in your hectic day as well.

Above all, be thankful! I have heard stories from a United States Marine regarding the way of life in Afghanistan. It is absolutely saddening. He has also spent time in Dominican Republic, providing me with the same sad stories.

Thank God for your blessings everyday. To help you with this issue, it is recommended that you write down ten things that you are grateful for each day. Try not to repeat your blessings.

#2 Health, Fitness and Fun Activities


Health and fitness are keys to living a life of quality, longevity, and memorable experiences. Exercise doesn't have to be dreadful and monotonous. Exercise can be fun! Find an active hobby to keep your heart pumping, muscles working, and those endorphins filling your brain.

There are many options for activity. It is all based on your preference. As you can see in the photo, kayaking is an activity I find to be tremendously exciting. Biking, hiking, bowling, dancing, tennis, golf, or skate on your roller blades; whatever your choice, enjoy yourself and improve your mind, body, and soul.

With today's modern technology, it shouldn't be difficult to find someone who enjoys the activities you do. Choose a buddy! It will make your fun filled adventure even more fun.

Now, lets get out there and get that heart rate up, sweat a bit, and most of all, have a great deal of fun doing it!

To give and receive love is a basic human necessity. Not only does it bring joy, but also companionship, friendship and trust. It is a scientific fact that love from animals enhances your life. Of course, human love is an experience unlike any other. But, God's love is the ultimate, unconditional love.

Love is trusting, selfless, and attentive to the other's needs. It is as gratifying to give love as it is to receive it. Just think of the joy on your loved one's face when you are able to do something that makes them happy. Yes, love does conquer all.

Laughter is the best medicine, and truly has a physiological benefit. Fun and entertainment will enhance your quality of life. Lighten up and embrace your sense of humor. We have but a short time on this planet, so use that time wisely. In addition to being responsible, respectful, and trustworthy, be silly, daring, reminiscent, romantic, and spontaneous. Share your wonderful self!
