The richness of life

Are you rich?

For most people richness and being rich refer to the economic situation a person have, and if they have a lot or not. A person with little money is poor and a person with plenty of money is rich, that seems to be a fact and so be it.

What if I say that you can be rich without having lots and lots of money? Would you laugh at me,think I'm an idiot or just turn around and walk away?

There are plenty of richness in the world there for you, you just need to open your eyes so that you can see it.

Think of all the people that you have in your life, what do you feel for them and what do they mean to you? Feel the love that you give to each other, your family, friends and partner. Aren't you happy for having these people in your life to support you? Don't you get a lot of love from these people? If you do, then you can agree with me that you are rich on love.

Think of all the stuff you have around you. Cars, electronics, kitchen supplies, furniture, games, decorations, clothes, shoes, sports gear, jewelry, books and everything else that you have. Some may been given to you, some you have bought yourself, some you have found somewhere and some things you have because you share them with other people. Look and think of all these things that you own and tell me you aren't rich on things? Your things value on the market is irrelevant since the true value is the meaning that is have for you.

What do you do in your free time? Do you use that time to be with your family, play sports, watching movies, go to restaurants, hang with friends, go to clubs, travel, read. Think of what you do and consider yourself rich that have the opportunity to choose what you want to do with the time you have on your hands. Since you have chosen it, one way or another, be happy and grateful for it.

Richness comes in many forms

Being rich has many faces, and if you feel it through out your life and are grateful for all that you have you will live a very rich life on many levels. The hard truth is that money alone can't buy you happiness and a happy life. To have the life you want you must feel it as well, otherwise it's just no point chasing richness trough money. Happiness and love comes from within, not from things and your surroundings. When you understand this and feel the richness, you will have a completely different taste for life, I promise you that.
