Christ in Our Life

Listen to the Music while you read, It is very comforting. See Below

Life today is so different then it was in Biblical times. We live in a fast paced world of computers, cell phones, 3-D televisions, ipads and on and on. There is so much hypocrisy, doubt, fear, unbelief, and self-reliance. Christ came into this world to destroy our emptiness that we feel from relying on the world and all our adult toys instead of Him and each other. He wants your fear, your doubt, your insecurity. He made it easy for us. He was God in Human Flesh. He felt what it was like to experience sadness, fear, hunger and all the myriad of human emotions.

So many people go through life thinking they are alone and they can do all things without any outside help. Christ gave us His Spirit to live within us so we could live life without being alone. We were not meant to live alone.

There is so much depression, anger, fear in life today. To find God and His strength all we have to do is reach out and give our hand to Christ. It is that easy. Just accept His presence in your life. Tell Him I am alone, I need your help, I know I have lived a life of self-dependence, sin and selfishness, but I am ready to live life with Jesus' Loving, Forgiving and Comforting Holy Spirit, living within me leading the way. When we do allow God to lead the way we are never left alone or forsaken. He is always right by our side. He has already forgiven our sins. There is nothing we can say or do to make His sacrifice on the Cross more Perfect. It is finished and we are forgiven.

Christ says to us in Matthew 11:30 "For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." He has so much power to unleash within us yet we are afraid to let go of our way of life and to lose control of our independence. Christ is not asking us to give up our life and "toys". He wants us to just let Him in and slowly He will change us, as we see what is really important and how God's way brings true happiness. We will develop a desire to please God from within without even realizing it is happening. To obtain wholeness we need to let our Lord and Savior show us gently what it is in our lives that will really make us happy as a person trying to make it in this crazy mixed up world.

You may have heard the saying to "Let go and let God". I have done that in my own life. I was in a time of crisis, exhaustion, depression and fear. I was totally broken and had nowhere else to go. I reached out and asked God to take my life and do what He wanted. I was totally at the end of my line, no where else to go in a state of immobility. As I lifted my arms and heart to Him I felt a peace I can not begin to explain. I have since seen miracles change my life. Yes I have problems but I have learned through experience I need not worry endlessly. God may not change things the way I think they should be, but I am not omnipotent. I can't see the big picture, He can. He knew each moment of our lives even before we were born or rather conceived.

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart for my holy purpose" Jeremiah 1:5.

This can be difficult to accept when the world is telling us to be afraid, insecure and to worry but worry gets us no where fast and only makes us sick and less able to do God's work in the world. When we can forget ourselves and reach out to help someone else we in turn receive a huge reward of happiness. I have come to a point where I don't make any decision without asking for Christ's leading. This has taken away so much fear and worry. I know ultimately I am letting go of my day and allowing God to take it and do with it what He will. This has brought me to a rich peace from deep within.

I still have anxious days, painful days, difficult days, but I can hand them over to Jesus.

If you have hit the end of your rope give Christ a chance you might be surprised by the happiness, love and peace you will find from His Love.
