What do you do to stop thinking about something embarrassing you did?
Sometimes, the obsessive thoughts about what you were thinking, what you could have done differently and what other people think about you are a bigger deal than the embarrassing event. What do you do when the advice "just don't think about it" doesn't work?

0Just think about the bigger scheme of things. Will this even matter in a week? What if something dreadful happened in your life that hasn't. I think this should put it into perspective.
