it most likely means you are pregnant, a false positive is rare.  take another test to be sure, but i'm fairly certain you are indeed pregnant.  the same thing happened to me with my third pregnancy and when i took another test, it showed up more vividly.  it could be that your urine was a little more diluted than when you test first thing in the morning.  good luck and if you are pregnant, congratulations!

A line is a line. Regardless of which line is heavier than the other, you are most likely pregnant. "Probably" doesn't quite apply to this situation. See a doctor, get a blood test, take care of yourself and have a healthy and happy nine months!

FROM MY EXPERIENCE KAYLEIGHDEANNA AS LONG AS YOU READ THE TEST IN CORRECT TIME FRAME. MEANING MOST TEST YOU WILL GET THE RESULT IN LIKE 1MIN. BUT MOST SUGGEST THAT YOUR WAIT ATLEAST 3-5MINS. AFTER THAT DON'T READ THE RESULTS. IT CAN BE A FALSE NEGATIVE OR FALSE POSITIVE. SO AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS. AND POSSIBLY MISSED A PERIOD ALREADY. SWEETHEART YOU ARE MOST LIKELY PREGNANT. THE SECOND LINE ON THE PREGNANCY TEST MAJORITY OF THE TIME IS LIGHTER COMPARED TO THE 1ST LINE. TO BE ON THE SAFE BEFORE YOU GET YOUR HOPES UP HIGH, TAKE PREGANANCY TEST THAT READS POSITIVE/NEGATIVE. MAYBE EVEN A +OR A - SIGN. IF YOU THINK YOUR ARE PREGNANT MAKE A DOCTORS APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR GYN CLINIC. YOUR CAN VISIT YOUR LOCAL PLANPARENTHOOD. HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS OUT FOR YOU.

Congratulations, you are pregnant.  I took 8 pregnancy tests the first few weeks and I never saw two dark lines.  One was always very faint.  But my daughter is 15 months old, so I was definitely pregnant!

    Good luck!

Collect urine in a clean, dry glass or plastic container. Ensure that there is no detergent residue in the container.

It's possible you are pregnant with twins.  Go check it out.  Make a appointment.  See a baby doctor.  They could tell you, more correctly on how to read those 'home tests' and they will test you in the real way, and let you know, what's going on with your body!  Its better to know than to be wondering!

Low test sensitivity thresholds: Different tests detect hCG at different levels, from 20MIU to 100MIU or more. 20 MIU tests will display a faint line when when hCG levels are at 20 MIU, while less sensitive tests will display a negative result. At 50 MIU levels, a 20 MIU test will show a stronger color band while a 50 MIU test will show a very faint band. Our tests are sensitive to 20 mIU/hCG.

If the faded line is transparent then it could be evaporation line, which means you are not pregnant.  If the faded line is of same color as that of the other line you are comparing with (could be light or dark or very light) then chances of you being pregnant is 100%.
