Why don't people learn more facts about dieting before jumping into one?
I guess they get so worked up and excited about it that they just jump in!
That's what the diet's marketing team is there for. They want you to get worked up on and just DO it.
More people = more money.
It's the same with workout regiments that are "sold" such as the P90X. I have a hub about why it's a sham.

Diets do not work. Explore the research. There are no magic pills, potions, patches, or pads. Fad diets are scams.
