Why are we always in a hurry? Life goes by fast enough, doesn't it?
I'm always in a hurry because I feel like I have a million things to do. But your right life does go by too fast. We need to slow down and smell the roses.
Most of our American society promotes successs and self gratification as a reward. Many Eastern countries teach their children meditation and self control . I practice breathing techniques and meditation on a daily basis. I try to center myself throughout the day so that I may be a more productive and more pleasant person. It's not easy to keep these practices when all about you is a stream of fast paced, over the top, emoting type people. I try each day , some days I acheive, some not...
