I rarely have quiet time alone, but when a moment comes up, I love to talk to my God or sing praises.
I sing the songs I just learned and try to master them and imagine being on stage and receiving flowers and applause
Since I'm retired I'm 15/24 hours before my PC, just to spend my free time and earn some Dollars.
Even they are few but sweet since coming overseas. I enjoy too much going to ATM to withdraw some $ earned through internet much better than withdraw local money. Don't you ?
I read the books & news paper , reading is my hobby so it passed my time very quickly, I dont know how time got passed.
I listen to music and read books. I daydream and think about my future. I think about the people I love. I pray to my god that is always there for me. I try to solve problems in my life. I be creative and draw pictures. I write poems about the things that bother me.
I love reading, and now become easier with the internet connection even with my mobile phone.
Read and write, most think quietly to myself. Conjure up ideas.

I usually watch a movie on my laptop or i just read a good book.
I spend most of my free time on hubpages, reading hubs and forum threads.
I like to sit and reflect on my thoughts and listen to the insights that the good Lord has blessed me with.
And I also like to use that quiet time to catch up on some stuff that I didn't do or I think about things I want to do!
I'm a gardener, so I usually do research, planning, starting seeds, digging garden beds, transplanting, making compost, harvesting, canning, freezing, etc. Although these are not quite experiences, the mere act of gardening quiets the soul.
I play my keyboard, or write in my private blog, or listen to music, or surf the Internet and answer questions like yours on Hubpages.
recently, it's been writing on hubpages. not always ideal, but it keeps my interest
read, paint, draw, or just soak peacifully in a hot bath, which is the perfect ending to a stressful day!
Love to paint, I can do it for hours without moving.
Sleep when I felt tired.
Play RPG games when got bored.
Read books and blogs when need some inspiration.
i work, creatively of course. Its always the best time to work on problems too.
i read a good book, reflect on things and write it in my blogsite, or if i'm really tired, i'll watch funny and sensible movies to relax my mind.
I write/read/surf the internet/clean/and listen to music

I want to write a novel, but I want to know what people are reading these days so I know what genre to write in and how to write my vision. What do you guys consider a good book?

Isn't it sad that some here only write and don't read, while others only read and don't write?

I've come to the conclusion that in order to get people to even look at your hubs, you must post in these forums. It may help get a few more fans, but if it doesn't, what have you lost. I've come here to hubber's hangout to see if anybody will become curious about my writing. I'm guessing I'm not...

Can you make a deal with God?So first a disclaimer, I am an atheist and don't believe there is a God, but for those of you who do, do you make "deals" with God or do you believe you can do this and does God respond? The other day, I heard of someone who promised God to go to church more if...

Writing under another name I have over 100 hubs published over 6 months. I started getting some traffic and even some Google and Amazon revenues. I have increased my hub count on a steady basis using keyword research. I started submitting to RSS feeds. I have read all the greats on HubPages about...
