Why does kleenex feel weird on my fingers?

Everytime I touch a kleenex to blow my nose the feel or texture irritates me starting as soon as my hand goes for one... Any takers?

"If I was a betting man"...I would have to say its because of the way the fibers are "put together" for lack of a better phrase. Tissues have a lot of the same properties of partial board. The fibers are not long pieces weaved together, but rather a bunch of smaller ones compacted together to make a sheet. So little bits of the fibers rub off and irritate you. Again...only if I was betting.

perhaps it is your fingers that feel weird on the kleenex.   are they dry, peeling or cracked?

It's probably the moisturizer that they put in/on the tissues
