Depends on what type you want, I have found the best high is natural. Read a good book, go for a bike ride, make some art, write a hub even. These will make you feel good.
You have to ask?! First, as yourself a quesiton. What kind of pleasure do you want? Physical, emotional, or mental?
Physical pleasure could be sky diving, bungie-jumping, or sex. These send off dopamine into your system, which is a natural pleasure drug. However, once you reach this high, you will always will want more which is why it causes a downward spiral.
Emotional involves having your feelings reach a high or new level. When a married couple spend an evening alone after years together and having children. Or spending family time after a stressful week at work. Seeing those you care about for the first time in months. There is nothing like emotional pleasure.
The third is mental. Are you satisfied with your intelligence? By outdoing yourself, you reach a level of pleasurable confidence. You feel superior, dominant, and in charge. This can become addictive and is a little dangerous.
Physical pleasure can be gained from within.
It takes a great deal of work, but if you are willing to push yourself to the wall and then through it; you will enter a strange and beautiful world. It is the domain of natural drugs - endorphins.
Endorphins are produced during vigorous exercise such as running. Endorphins have magical properties that you can't even dream of. They are opiates, analgesics, and much more.
You may have heard the term 'Endorpin Rush'.
You need to find out for yourself. Get thee to a gym and try and find a mentor who can get you on a program.
