What is your favorite part about being a life coach and what is the worst thing....
you've ever had to do to help a client, as a life coach?
My favorite part of coaching is when clients "get it", that moment when they suddenly understand what the underlying issue is and begin to make steps to correct it. I'm pretty choosy with the kinds of clients I accept, so I've never had to do anything I would consider "worst" in helping anyone. If a potential client's values aren't aligned with my own, I choose not to work with him or her. Still, there is frustration sometimes in guiding someone to be accountable. I suppose what's hardest for me on occasion is having to keep my mouth shut! Telling the client the answer or the correct action to take isn't really coaching.
