Nice picture!!!  That's about how you feel!  You just want to get rid of that eye that is throbbing!!!
In order to do a good job of getting rid of a headache, you've got to find the source.  Taking an aspirin is just putting on a bandaid.  The headache will come back.
For example, someone who has suffered a head injury may end up with headaches because something in their brain or just in their head has been knocked out of place.  Put things back in proper order and the headaches will go away.  Someone with diabetes or another health issue may get headaches because of imbalances in their electrolytes or some other critical component.  Eat a healthy meal or something that elevates your electrolytes and the headaches will go away.
The term Migraine is a bandaid.  Find the source.  It may take staying away from the medical community to ensure you regain your health.  I love your mom's remedy!

    thanks sarmack!!!
i got aspirin addiction 3 years a go and i wont touch any medicine like that.
so i prefer use traditional way to remove this ache.
    1. warm black tea: drink it when still warm and lay my head down to the pillow
    2. like i was said, hot ginger water and honey: smash the ginger and boil it with the water, pour honey when you will to serve it.
    3. drink a cup of coffee, caffein will help the migrain but never too much.

The only thing I know to do is to lie down in a dark room and put a cold damp rag across your eyes. This works for me. I have used ginger too it helps a lot and also calms my sick stomach that the headache causes.

Funny response from someone who would down Tylenol every single day for her headaches. Sometimes it's necessary to take medication, everything in moderation. Or be a martyr and just suffer through it, your choice.
