How come we don't legalize drugs if our first attempt at prohibition has such a negative impact?
Many people agree that Prohibition (during the 20's) had a negative effect on our country. We fell more and more in debt as we arduously fought the efforts of alcohol, as well as didn't receive any taxes due to alcohol's underground status. Our country also experienced organized crime and immorality ga'lore.
Because we have a bunch of closed minded, wwii vets that hate hippies.

I personally think it is ridiculous that it's not allowed. But according to polls the majority disagree with me! Surely there must be somebody on here that favors the outlawing of marijuana. Tell me why!
