    What are the benefits of jogging?

    Why should people jog or run? Is it just as healthy to walk? Also, what guidelines should one follow in terms of how far and how long they run per each exercise session.

    It depends on your current health and what you want from it. If your goal is weight loss, jogging is better than walking, but a combination of sprinting/walking/jogging (interval training) is optimal. Both walking and jogging are good for cardio health. Walking should be considered more of a daily necessity than exercise, because it is just movement and should be done by everyone! As for distance and time, it depends on the person and their ability.
