No-This is not an IBS Symptom-http://ibs.about.com/od/symptomsofib1/a/symptoms.htm

But it is a symtom of  Gastroesophageal reflux disease-http://www.patienthealthinternational.com/acid-reflux/

You might be suffering from gastric, acidity which results in burning sensation on the upper side of the abdomen. However it is better to consult the specialist for further counseling.

Reflux, ulcer or even gall bladder. See your doctor and let /him/her determine if it is one of those.

It could be reflux, gall bladder, but it could also be a Hiatal hernia. This can cause upper ab pain as well. You should have it checked. It could be a sign of something worse.

It is impossible to diagnose with just that one symptom. You should see a physician who can examine you and determine the cause.
