Have you ever had to stop typing/ writing because your hands hurt so badly?

Every single one of my fingers hurt and each click on the keyboard is excruciatingly painful. Any one else have to take a break from typing/ writing because  your hands/ fingers hurt so badly? Any tips to make the pain go away?  (The pain has been building for the past three days now.)

Try a tart cherry supplement for finger joint pain.

Oh yes, or they get numb and I have to try and find a position to get the feeling back.  Frustrating.

I haven't had pain as bad as you describe though.  Osteoarthritis maybe?

If you have a computer or iPad you can dictate into the computer instead of typing to at least get your ideas down before they are lost.

The fingers on my right hand hurt when I type and the pain shoots up my arm and my shoulder. It may be carpal tunnel syndrome but I have not sought treatment because the pain goes away after I avoid typing for a few days.  Massaging with camphor and menthol liniment helps.
