Tbear1013 breathing tube
I was wondering if you could tell me what type of berating tube they will use will it be nasal since it is oral surgery thanks for your time again
It is possible that a nasal tube will be used to keep the tube out of the mouth to give the dentist/surgeon more room to work in the mouth. I prefer to place nasal tubes for dental surgery most of the time since it also makes it less likely that it will be moved or impeded during surgery.
Honestly, the nasal tubes look more uncomfortable, but they really aren't (plus you will be asleep when it's in there). It shouldn't make much difference to you as far as how you feel when you wake up.
Just let them know, if they are going to use a nasal tube, if you have any problems with your nose. For example, tell them if you have a deviated septum or if you breathe more freely from one side of you nose than the other.
How long does a normal oral surgery take they told me about 30 mins I have several that broke off to the gum and do you have nosebleeds after the nasal so sorry to bother you again thanks
Tell the doctor if you are on blood-thinners. Even if you get a nosebleed (they usually spray and lube the tube to prevent this), it is not a big deal and stops before you wake. Surg length depends on procedure. Only short comment allowed here, sry.
