Best thing to do to keep your weight under control and enjoy a healthier life is to work on toxins and heavy metals - and yes we all have them - we all live on this planet. And some of us have weaker immune systems and cant flush out the rubbish.

Well I know that if you have "rolls" hanging over your belt, or popping out from under your too-tight shorts, you probably need to lose some.  On the other hand, if you are compulsively puking after every meal, you probably need to think about gaining a pound or two....

From what I understand, the simple trick is all about simple mathematic. Yea, thats right. It all boils down to calories. If u can manage to burn more calories that what u consume, then the pounds will drop.

I've had experience of losing a great deal of weight and have stayed slim for over 12 years now. You can read how I did it and learn how to do it yourself by getting hold of a copy: Read Away Body Fat ISBN1609100042. I had quite a few emails from people that say that it's easy to read and really affective. If anyone buys it and wants to write their opinion of it here or directly to me then I'd be delighted! I'm posting regular reports on my hub with ideas from the book so that, if you can't afford to buy it, you can get the information there for free.

Weight loss can be simple if you consistently eat the right foods and exercise.  Most people know what they should and shouldn't not be eating but do not follow these guidelines on a regular basis.  People know they should not be eating fried foods, fast food, sugary deserts etc if their goal is to lose weight but they eat these things anyway.

Instead of searching for a healthy and balanced diet and exercise programs, people look to fads such as fat burners, Acai Berry pills, and Lose XXX pounds in XXX days type of diets.

I guess I know a lot about weight loss. I have been reading tons of books on the subject for years.  I have worked on my weight several times, losing it, gaining it back and losing it and gaining it back again.  Now that I am getting older I want to finally lose it and keep it off.  I started on this journey again and decided to chart my progress in a blog www.skinnyheffa.blogspot.com So far I have been losing a pound a day, which is probably water weight but it is exciting none the less.

It's simple, eat less, move more.

Good foods and exercise for life. And drink lots of water, it makes you feel full and keeps you hydrated.

Fads don't work. They might take off a few pounds fast, but you can't spend a lifetime on them and eventually you go right back up the scale becasue you haven't really learned how to eat properly.

Start slowly and make a few changes at a time that you can live with to incorporate low cal foods into your diet.  And move... walk, take the stairs and not the elevator, stand, dance when your doing your housework, whatever it takes to get your body moving. It will be slow, but eventually you will see a difference and feel better.  After all, you didn't gain all the weight overnight either.

I've lost 25 pounds in 6 months, that includes building lean muscle which weighs more than fat. So really, I lost lots of inches and 25 pounds. I did it with bodyweight exercises combined with cardio and HIIT. I wrote several articles if you care to read.

What I know is that there is no Magic Bullet. A change of lifestyle perhaps and watch calories. What works every time to lose weight is to burn off more calories each day than you take in. Do Not waste your money on any of the "loose weight fast programs".

The question depends on what type of answer you want. Do you want trivial facts or and overall picture?

I'd say overall its the change in lifestyle,

Eat healthy food that keep you metabolism efficient, naturla foods mostly, 6 times a day

keep an exercise routine - combine cardio and weights for a good way to build muscle and fitness tospeed up the metbolism - or - a physical sport - anything with running, martial artsm, etc.

Just trying to live healthy in general and not going for a'quick fix'.

The most important thing to know about weight loss is that you have to consume less calories than you take in daily.  That is how you lose weight.  You consume less calories by eating less food and through more activity (exercise, work, etc.).

3500 calories is in one pound of fat. If you want to lose one pound per week, you should reduce your caloric intake by about 500 calories every day.  500 calories/day x 7 days= 3500 calories.
