    Does the honey and cinnamon cocktail for losing weight really help, or is it an old wives tale?

    WEIGHT LOSS:Daily in the morning one half hour before breakfast and on an empty stomach, and at night before sleeping, drink honey and cinnamon powder boiled in one cup of water. When taken regularly, it reduces the weight of even the most obese person. Also, drinking this mixture regularly does not allow the fat to accumulate in the body even though the person may eat a high calorie diet

    Well, I can tell it's bunkum from the fact that the instructions think dietary fat "accumulates" to make you fat.

    Also, if it doesn't "accumulate", it will leak out like fat binders do. By leak out, it means you will have to wear nappies or make a mess of your underwear. Not that it acts like a fat binder.

    Perhaps it satisfies cravings - certainly, I like the taste of honey.
