What are the TEN MOST DAUNTING aspects about being the MIDDLE child in the family?
To start: being the mediator, have to listen to both sides of the story, too old to be treated like the younger and too young to get older's privileges, being the attention grabber, getting the chance to talk about your status as the middle child, being a role model from watching older siblings, feeling of empathy given but returns pending, a wider point of view to give directions, hiding your possessions but losing them for the sake of other siblings, learning to like your position in the family. Those are my ten.
Instead of answering I have a question for you. What would be the most important things to remember when dealing with a middle child? Do you happen to have a hub on this I have missed? Because I have three I always enjoy reading others view on what not to do. My husband was a middle child and he is now the one that doesn't fit in. Feel free to delete this post if need be, but I was curious.
I am the middle child!!!
1. Your stuck in the middle
2. Your the middle child, not the oldest or the youngest just the middle child.
3. The oldest did it first the youngest does it cutest
4. Your stuck in between two different age brackets
5. Too young for this or too old for that
It sucks being the middle child but as you get older you become more balanced, you realize being the middle isn't so bad after all..
