    What is a Menses Pot?

    I came across the term menses pot recently - what does it mean?

    What I found when I looked this up is that a menses pot is a pot to soak reusable menstrual pads in over night before washing them in a regular wash cycle. Woman back in the early days had no access to disposable sanitary napkins.

      From the word menses I figured that was what it was.  Don't know if I could have handled that part of my life during those early days.  smile  But I do believe in recycle, reuse, and don't waste.
