How can I pass a DOT eye exam in NY?
I took a pre-employment physical for a job which requires a CDL license. Ultimately, I failed with 20/50 vision in one eye. The doctor was nice enough to allow me to pass with 20/40 which is the minimum. I have trauma to the eye from a bungee cord, and need this job, would like to know if there is a standard or a couple tests, that maybe I could memorize those particular lines. Hate to cheat, but it is mine and my families livelihood!!! Hate to think this bungee cord ruined my life as I am only 39.
