Bile Gastritis with feeling of a coated tongue...what to do???
I was recently diagnosed with bile gastritis after a recent EGD. For years I've dealt with GERDS, and have been on the PPI Omeprazole (40mg/day 40mg/nite). I had my gall bladder out in 2003. No stomach probs till recently, started having intense cramps, like old gallstones from past and sweet almost metallic taste in mouth and tongue felt coated like a thrush infection. Had EGD. Ulcers were gone, but told I had "bile gastritis" and my hiatal hernia moved further up. My tongue issue is plaguing me. Is this fungal or a bile issue?? Super confused. Please help. Desperate.
