What is mental illness?
Can people with mental illness be helped?
Are people with mental illness dangerous to society?
Can people with mental illness “snap out” of it?
Can people with mental illness be helped?
Absolutely. While it is ever so common for persons deemed mentally ill to be medicated into oblivion, that may not be the best course of action. We live in a world where people are expected to be so robotic - 40 to 100 hours of work per week. Houses, spouses and cars.
I think a lot of the time rejecting the whole paradigm is what some view as mental illness, and so, the mentally ill are just persons who have different values than the normies. The mentally ill sometimes just need to be accepted as being as valuable as people as Joe T. Oilman, or Billy Bob Lawyer.
Are the mentally ill dangerous to society?
Sure they are. I bet one out of every one thousand is even as dangerous as the typical police officer.
Mental illness runs the gamut from depression to schizophrenia. Of course it can be helped and, with therapy and or medication it can be helped. For the most part, most are not a danger to society.
I wouldn't say they can 'snap out of it' but it is possible, once you understand the problem (depending on its severity) to overcome it.
What is mental illness?
Mental illness is any illness having to do with the functioning of the brain that involves and affects emotion, feelings, thought patterns and behavior.
Can people with mental illness be helped?
Yes, they can, however, there must be a willingness on the part of the person with the illness for help to be effective.
Are people with mental illness dangerous to society?
Only those with severe behavioral challenges that are unwilling to participate in and comply with mental health treatment and protocol.
Can people with mental illness “snap out” of it?
No. They have to be trained in how to recognize their triggers, deal with the emotional ups and downs that they experience, and modify the thought patterns that result from and are affected by their specific illness. In many cases, medication is required before this type of training can even be considered or attempted.

Mental Illness VS Demonic possessionIn Jesus day, he expelled many devils from possessed people. Do we today, confuse demonic possession for certain forms of mental illness? I believe there is a difference, but... what would you say is the difference? How does one know the difference?

Many doctors are agreeing that mental issues is not the root cause of mass shootings. It is the easy access to combat style weapons.https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/mental … li=BBnb7Kz
