as we legalize it, use it more freely ...

    and experience its actual detriments?

According to recent studies, its dangerous to use, recreationally.

Like alcohol, its not that good for us.

I don't see its popularity diminishing. I was a sporadic recreational user, at one time. If it was legal here, I might partake. Might not. But, a lack of health benefits has rarely precluded consumption of much else. Why would pot be seen differently?

I have a defeatist attitude about things that are dangerous for us. We are poisoned, daily, by the environment we live in. I don't begrudge those who know their poison, as long as they take responsibly for the outcome.

The greatest concern about pot in Canada was teenagers. Canada was at level 1 and in Holland pot was at level 2, like Alcohol. Yet per capita, Holland teens smoked half of what Canadain teens did. So, by telling teens pot is no good for you and not giving good reasons why. Make them desire pot moreso. Making pot  legal, is not so cool anymore.

I don't know. What is the legal age in Canada to drink? Pot would still be illegal for a teenager to use, if legalized. Yes?

The fact is with making it schedule 2 like Alcohol, they must be age 18 to use it. Also they can tax it, cuts out useless Cartels, gangs, lawyers and police and prisons guard, in the US that cost you 80 billion a year.

Per capita Canada is the greatest users of pot in the world. Most senseless law ever made. As cannabis is the most important and useful plant in the history of mankind. The Government is totally backwards.

Wow. And I would've put wheat and corn higher on the list of important and useful plants. Tell me, mr. smarty pants, aren't the munchies that followed just as important as the high?

Cannabis seeds are second most nutreisial in the world, 2nd to soya. Cannabis is the World's Biggest Cash Crop? You think the biggest crops in the world is corn, wheat and soybeans. That doesn't mean they make the most money. Cannabis is king in terms of profits. Not only does it generate more revenue than every other crop, it also produces more money per square kilometer than any other, including cocaine and opium about $48 million per square kilometer. In addition hemp produces 50,000 other material products . Ford made a car from hemp and fueled in on hemp. It was scraped because hemp is illegal.
It would replace our oil and fuel problem rather than have it kill us.

Soya? What snack that's good to eat when you have the munchies was ever made with soya? Sounds treasonous.

I don't think any centralization or  CULT-ture like marijuana culture is healthy for you. Everything in moderation and be your own best doctor, educators and leader.

Different strains of cannabis makes you either horny, Hunger, happy and sleepy. When you have problems with one of these. I used to have a sleep problem everyday. I use a safe vaporizer just 3 times a month, problem solved, no side effects and nothing esle works because I generally don't like drugs at all.

Everything in moderation? I'm beginning to think you've never had the munchies. What's going on? Is pot just a cash crop to you?

It is good to decriminalize the use of plant-produced THC. Those who want to use alcohol, THC, or  other substances should be allowed.

We can decide for ourselves whether to imbibe or not. Let us experiment and learn what the positive benefits and negative consequences are. The possibility of addiction should be understood and avoided. We have brains. We can use them.

( Of course, substances can mess up those brains and destroy the ability to guide the gift of free-will appropriately, so we really need to take heed!)
